Why Doesn't etrailer e45ZR Hitch Fit the 2021 Hyundai Palisade When It Fits Similar Kia Telluride?

A friend got me the e45zr for my 2021 Hyundai Palisade instead of the e95zr. I was away for a while and just opened the package. Return window has expired and I’m here just trying to see if perchance the e45zr will fit the 2021 Hyundai Palisade. Many thanks

We hate to be the bearer of bad news...

The # e45ZR fits the Kia Telluride only, so unfortunately it wouldn't be a fit for your Hyundai Palisade (even though the vehicles are very similar). The problem lies with the differences between the rear bumpers and where they sit on the vehicle. If were to somehow install the # e45ZR on your Palisade, you'll find that the hitch will be too far recessed under the vehicle and the receiver would sit high up enough that it would sit almost directly behind the bumper, which would render it useless.
