7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Wiring for a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Classic

Question:

i have the ls model truck,2wd.i dont have the factory round plug hanging down under bumper. where would this product plug to.

The factory plug you are referring to should be located above the spare tire near the center of the vehicle, you may need to lower the spare somewhat to find the connector. This harness will plug directly into the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector, item # 30955, once the cap on the harness is removed. Once you have this connection made you will have a 7-Way and 4-Way connector at the rear of the vehicle.

The Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector, item # HM40975, does not have the additional wiring needed to install the 7-Way and 4-Way connector. This item is meant as a replacement for a factory installed connector.
