Which Wire on Trailer's 7-Way Wiring is Brake Output
Question:
My 2001 f250 super duty has a 7 way plug but my trailer only has 5 wires red , black , yellow , green , brown, which wire will be trailer brakes cause it has trailer brakes

It is probably the black wire that is the brake wire on your trailer's 7-way wiring and the red wire is the 12 volt accessory circuit. I would recommend verifying this by tracing where the wire goes as not everyone follows wiring color standards.
