Correct 12" Propane Hose for Connector with Almost 3/4" Thread Diameter

Question:

Hi, Im trying to find a 12 ft propane hose with a male fitting on one end and female on the other to replace the one on my Coachman Viking 17BH travel trailer. The hose runs from a distribution bar to the hot water heater. Trouble is, when I measure the threads on the existing fittings with a caliper Im getting 1/2 inch or actually almost 3/4 inch diameter. On your product list I see mostly 3/8 and 1/4 inch fittings. Am I just measuring incorrectly, or is my trailer fitted from the factory with a weird size hose? Thanks

Thanks for all of the info! It sounds like you're needing the 12' MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose # 100040-144-MBS which has 3/8" Male NPT x 3/8" Female Flare Swivel ends.

Propane fittings can be confusing because they go by the inner diameter of the hose as opposed to the diameter of the fittings directly. The 3/8" NPT fittings measure 0.675" for the thread diameter (see attached) which sounds like what you've been measuring.

Hope this helps make it less confusing! I'm attaching a link to the article that I got the photo from in case you want to check that out as well.
