How Much Side Wall Clearance Is Needed With Timbren Axle-Less Suspension # ASR1THDS03?
Question:
how much side clearance do I need between the tire/axle and the fender on the Timbrin axles? Since the axles only travel up and down, correct I just need a minimal amount of clearance? Will 1inch on inside edge of the tire between the side of the fender be a problem?

Expert Reply:
1" is the tire clearance I recommend on all axle types including the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR1THDS03. This clearance is needed as tires do flex and can get wider under load. It also helps prevent most road debris from getting caught between the tire and fender/frame of your trailer.
