Will The Bumper Mount Receiver Fit a 2006 Honda Ridgeline For Towing a Jon Boat Trailer?
Question:
Can the curt bumper mount hitch be fitted to an 06 ridgeline. I will only be pullinga light weight trailor with a 14 ft jon boat. Best guess is 300# total weight. The only place I can see to mount it is on back Bumper brace that connects to frame on both sides. Appreciate any help you can give me.

I recommend installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75280 on your 2006 Honda Ridgeline. Honda does not rate the rear bumper as being strong enough for towing so the Curt # E-3S bumper mount is not an option. This bumper mount was designed to used on trucks which have a mount for a tow ball and a bumper rated for towing. The Draw-Tite attaches to the frame rails as well as the rear of the bumper making sure it has a strong connection to the truck.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118400 will give you a 4-way flat connector. This is the connector most often used on small trailers. It can also be used with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if you are carrying a bike rack or similar hitch mounted accessory which impairs the view of your tail lights.
