Troubleshooting Trailer Valet JXS Trailer Jack No Longer Fully Extending With Cordless Drill Adapter

Question:

After being in use for a few weeks to support my 2500-pound food trailer, the jack now seems to be a bit sticky mid-way through the lifting and lowering process. This causes my drill dewalt 20v cordless to cease operation due to the increased torque within the gears. I am able to use the manual crank to lift the trailer further, but would like not to need to. The trailer can be lowered with the drill without stopping. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you may need to add some more grease to the Trailer Valet JXS Trailer Jack # TV64FR. With the performance of the jack getting worse the portion of the screw inside the jack is likely drying out making operation with the Drill Attachment # TVDA more difficult on the drill. There is a grease zerk on the back of the jack below the crank handle area.
