Can Taskmaster Provider Tires Be Ran at Pressures Lower Than What's Listed on Tire Sidewall?
Question:
If a 10 ply trailer tire has a max. rating of 2830 Lbs. at 80 psi and my load is only 2125 lbs. Can I run a lower air pressure to make my ride softer?

Expert Reply:
Taskmaster load tests their tires at the full inflation pressure listed on the tire's sidewall, not at various lower pressures. Reducing the pressure in the tires would give you an unknown load capacity. Running tires in a situation where you have zero idea of their actual load capacity is a dangerous proposition that we don't recommend.
Obviously, you're welcome to do as you wish, but it isn't something we would do.
