Can 4 Gauge Wire from a Battery Isolator be Used to Power a Small Winch
Question:
Using a battery isolator to charge a trailer battery. Can the charging wire #4 gauge be also used to power a small winch? 30 amp. Without towing a trailer

Yes, you could use the Pollak 2-Pole Trailer Wiring Connector and a 4 gauge wire to power a small winch as long as the wire gauge for the winch is not thicker than 4 gauge. Since the winch is small, it likely uses 8 or 10 gauge wire, so you should be fine.
