Determining Trailer Connector Functions
Question:
Hjoow do I wire a 6 wire trailer plug: green, yellow, white, blue, black, red wires to a 5 wire vehicle: green right turn, yellow left turn, white ground, brown runing light, blue brake lights. Thank you

Wire colors don't mean anything as there is no standard so it's impossible to tell you what wires do what. The only way to determine which wires will connect to the different trailer connectors you have is to identify each by function using the Circuit Tester # PTW2979.
