Recommended Equalizers for a 2002 Montana 3295RK w/ a 35 Inch Wheelbase

Question:

I am looking to upgrade the equalizers on my 2002 Montana 3295RK. 35” wheel base. Was looking At Moryde and Road armor. I received a diagram from Moryde with required dimensions for their equipment. Is there a similar diagram for the road armor? I see the Moryde has 3” of travel and road armor has6” of travel? I don’t think I have room for 6” of travel. Thanks for your help.

Yes, there is a diagram for the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit item # LC696740. I have attached it below. Out of those two options I highly recommend the MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers item # MR27ZR. These are designed specifically for a trailer with a 35" axle spread.

As far as room for travel goes you are going to want to get as close as possible to the size of equalizers and shackle straps you already have. This will ensure you're not hitting the side of your trailer.

I recommend replacing your wet bolts and shackles when you are swapping out the equalizers. You will need to measure the shackles on your 2002 Montana. If you have 2-1/4" long shackles you will want the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit item # MR46ZR. For 3-1/8" long shackle straps item # MR76ZR.
