You can use a fixed hitch like the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3600, but you'll run the risk of nose of the fifth wheel trailer coming into contact with the cab of your 2022 Ram 3500 when making tight turns. That being said, a lot of newer trailers come with more tapered noses to increase turning clearance with short bed trucks.

To figure out how much clearance you have you'll need to tape a plumb bob to the outermost corner of the trailer's nose. Driver's or passenger's side, it doesn't matter. You'll then measure from the plumb bob line to the center of the king pin. You can then take the tape measure to your bed and place the tape measure where the jaws of the hitch would sit (center of the axle) and push the tape out to the measurement you got before and turn it until it touches the cab. This simulates the nose of the trailer touching the cab and will give you an idea of the how much turning radius you have.

If you need find that you're going to need a sliding hitch for your Ram to gain enough turning clearance then you'll want the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ram Towing Prep Package - 20K # BWRVK3670 instead. These hitches are designed to fit into a puck system so your Ram will need the in-bed puck system in order for this to be compatible.
