Can A City Water Inlet Limit The Flow Of Water Into The RV

Question:

Camco Evo Water Filter 40631 I have this filter plus water pressure regulator. Regulator is first, then the filter. Regulater is adjusted to 45-50 psi although it fluctuates. When we open a faucet, or fush the toilet, the pressure starts at 45 but s to 20 psi. I have replaced the filter and regulator Renator adjustable. Same issue. Ive read it could be the City water inlet valve, is this possible?

If your city water inlet has a backcheck valve there is the possibility that it's clogged or damaged in some way that it's limiting the flow of water. There's isn't a way to really fix the backcheck so you'd be looking at replacement of the inlet. If you have a recessed mount design then you'll want part # 37262125, and for a surface mount design you'll want part # 37262165. You'll want to put some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 around the outer edge of the flange for a waterproof seal.
