The Brophy tie downs # TDSF are designed to fit Full-size pickups with campers up to 8 feet and full-size domestic pickups for model years up to and including 2010. Your 1997 Ford F-150 is within the requirements as far as the vehicle goes. Just make sure the camper is no longer than 8 feet long.
I also recommend the camper tie down hardware package, # TDHP to secure the camper to the tie downs.
