Recommended Cargo Box Upgrade for an Older Thule Evolution Cargo Box

Question:

Looking for replacement parts for a Thule Evolution Box. Dont know what year as it was bought used. I dont know what the parts are called but there are 4 flat metal strips on the interior that the hook goes through to attach to roof rack. They are all really rusted. See photos.

I did check with Thule and the parts you're referring too are not replaceable unfortunately. With that said, your only real option then is to replace the entire box.

I get that might be a bit much to ask, however with your box being older and no longer available it's going to be the smarter move in the long run.

If you're at all interested, the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629906 is very popular and would be a great upgrade to your current Evolution.
