Tip for Getting Last Trailer Hitch Install Bolts to Line Up During Install
Question:
Received my hitch quickly and went to install. The four bolts to the ouyside holes line up great. The two larger bolts that mount in the center are at least an 1/8thinch off. There is no wiggle room at all. Any suggestions?

It's not out of the ordinary for hitches to get slightly bent in shipping or sometimes there's just small variances on the vehicle. In a situation like yours what normally works is to have all of the hitch hardware that lines up just barely started so that you can move the hitch around a bit and then use that bit of movement to get the last two bolts started and from there torque the hardware down.
