Yakima Q-Tower Replacement Parts Needed for Allen Bolt That Secures Q-Tower to CrossBar

Question:

The bolt on my q tower is stripped out , its the one with the Allen head that you use to lock the tower down to the bar so it wont slide, is there anyway to fix this??

I have spoken with my contacts at Yakima, and with the locking style that you describe it sounds like the Q Tower you have is a previous design model. Since that model of the Yakima Q Tower is no longer in production you will need to use a different leg system. We do have some replacements for different ! Towers but I'll need to know what the year/make/model is for your vehicle then I can see what will work for you.

Otherwise you may be interested in a universal option like the SeaSucker # 298-SX6000B which fits basically any vehicle out there and can easily be transferred from one vehicle to the next as needed.
