Recommended Hitch for a 2020 Lincoln Continental
Question:
I want to buy a trailer hitch for a 2020 Lincoln Continental

Expert Reply:
The only hitch available for a 2020 Lincoln Continental is going to be the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C12182. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Lincoln with included hardware. I really like this hitch because the main crosstube installs behind your rear bumper cover this leaves only the 1-1/4" receiver visible.
The Curt Hitch item # C12182 is a class II hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight. You will want to verify what your vehicle's towing capacity is and go off of that number.
I have linked the installation instructions below.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 118682 and the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
