How to Remove and Replace and Old Latch Cable on the Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch?
Question:
I am replacing a plastic ball mount lead in and have a question. How do I disconnect the latch cable from the existing unit so I can replace the broken unit?

Expert Reply:
In order to remove the old broken remote latch on your Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Hitch # AM3200, you'll just need to loosen the nuts around the black handle to release some pressure. From here the round part connected at the funnel / converter box can be backed off.
Now you can unscrew the inner bolt and remove the old latch cable, and when you go to re-install the new cable, simply repeat the removal process in reverse.
