Is the Yakima Roundbar Adapter Needed to Use the Yakima MightyMounts on Aero Crossbars?

for a 2011 Highlander Hybrid with crossbars: Can I use Item # Y03536 on top of Item # Y03590 to mount my round crossbar to the aero style Toyota crossbar? Thanks much,

You actually do not need the RoundBar SL Adapter for Yakima BaseLine, SkyLine, TimberLine, and RidgeLine Towers # Y03536 to use the Universal MightyMounts for Yakima Roof Mounted Accessories # Y03590 on your 2021 Toyota Highlander's Aero crossbars.

The RoundBar SL Adapter for Yakima BaseLine, SkyLine, TimberLine, and RidgeLine Towers # Y03536 are only needed if you were adding round bars to your car, but since you said you already have aero crossbars, you'd only need the Mighty Mounts.

If you were planning on adding roundbars to your Highlander, then yes you'd need the Roundbar adapter, along with the BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06153 & # Y06132.
