Recommended Replacement Roof Vent Lid For An Old Elixir Roof Vent On A 1991 Astro Pro Van

I’m trying to find the right vent cover and hinge for my 1991 Astro Tiger Pro Van. I believe it’s an old elixir style so maybe it’s not made anymore and I need to update the whole component.

The hinge you have displayed is a bit different than the ones we have so without knowing an exact model the best solution without replacing the entire vent would be to use a universal-fit lid like the MaxxAir UniMaxx Universal Replacement Lid for RV and Trailer Roof Vent # MA00-335001.

This lid comes with its own hinge that you'll mount to the sides of the vent. To install it I would use some rivets and go over the top of them with some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 to prevent any leaks.
