Parts Needed To Haul a 295LB Dirt Bike With a 2014 Lincoln MKS AWD Ecoboost
Question:
I would like to buy a dirt bike rack and this tow hitch to take my dirt bike on long trips. The bike weighs 295 pounds. Will this be a safe method to transport and will my car sag too much. I have a 2014 Lincoln mks AWD ecoboost.

You are going to need a Trailer # K2MMT4X6 to haul your dirt bike behind your 2014 Lincoln MKS. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12088 which fits your MKS has a 1-1/4" receiver and Dirt Bike Racks # e56UR are going to be for fitting a 2" receiver. The trailer will also better carry the weight of the dirt bike and other gear you will be taking since your MKS was not designed for hauling large heavy objects. This reduces rear sag on your suspension too since you will only be carrying a portion of the weight on your vehicle suspension rather than all the weight of the dirt bike and carrier.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56093 is needed to operate the trailer lights when you are towing.
