Recommended Companion Hitch for a Dodge Truck w/ a B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch

what BandW 5th wheel hitch will work on a Dodge Mega Cab truck? it has a turn over ball goose neck set up already on the truck

Since your 2017 Ram 2500 already has the B&W Turnoverball System item # BWGNRK1384 you will want either the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3500-5W you were looking at, or Item # BWRVK3400 for a sliding 5th wheel hitch. Both have a 20,000 lbs capacity.

Both of these Companion hitches work with the square receiver on B&W's turnover ball gooseneck hitches. They are only compatible with B&W square gooseneck receivers. You can not use either hitch with a rotating pin box.

To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # C56070. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
