Recommended Weight Distribution System for 23' Trailer Weighing 6,400LBS Full & 540LBS Tongue Weight

I have a 23 trailer that is 6400 pounds full. has a Tongue weight of 540 pounds. I have a lot of trouble with sway. I tow it with 1996 FORD F250 Which anti sway hitch should I use.

Expert Reply:
I recommend using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800 for your trailer. This hitch system is rated for a trailer up to 8,000lbs with a tongue weight of 400-800lbs. It has sway control built in with the hitch and there is no need to remove any parts of the hitch to back up or maneuver the trailer once you get where you are going.
You will need either a 2" # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16" # EQ91-00-6100 hitch ball to match your coupler. A 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 is needed to install the ball on the hitch.
