Front and Rear Clearance Dimension for B and W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch BWRVK3500

Question:

BandW Companion footprint in 2017 RAM 3500, Megacab, 64inch bed using a BandW turnover ball? etrailer, Do you have the dimensions for the amount of space from the front of the bed to the Companion and then from the tailgate to the Companion. The vehicle 2017 RAM, 3500, Mega Cab currently has a small transfer tank in the front of the bed. Ive seen images of the Companions frame being 45, but Im curious as to the space around it. Thanks

From the center of the shank to each end of the base (forward and back) of the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500 is 18 inches. So you would need to measure forward and back from the center of your gooseneck ball shank 18 inches to see if you have the clearance needed.

We haven't had a chance to take this measurement in your truck bed so I can't tell you exactly what clearance you'd have like you asked about.
