How to Raise Ride Height of 2013 K-Z Sportsmen Sportster 265TH
Question:
Hello, I have a 2013 kz sportsman sportster 5th W 265 series and I need to raise the ride height so its more level with my truck. The springs sit under the axle currently and I need them to sit on top. I think I need to purchase a lot to change this? Or can I just flip axles under? Also, in addition to putting axle under springs is there any other rasing blocks that are adjustable I could put it to raise it more and level it just right?

Flipping your axles does not require a lot of parts and isn't too complicated. What you need is the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit. You will need to find your axle diameter to choose the correct kit. For a 2-3/8" axle you need the # K71-384-00 and for a 3" axle the # K71-385-00.
This will raise your K-Z Sportsmen Sportster the diameter of your axle plus the height of the leaf spring stack. There are no additional blocks you can add, but you could add taller hangers to raise the height further. This would require cutting of the old hangers and welding on new ones. I recommend using the axle flip kit first to see if that is enough before going that route.
I have attached an installation video below for your reference.
