Wiring Brake Controller to Factory Wiring of 2022 Isuzu NRR

Question:

Hi I have a 2022 isuzu nrr with a switch n go body. I have a wire in front in the cab which I was told was for a brake controller. I look at the ones you have but couldn’t find one that would fit. Could I send a photo to see if you have something for it? Thank you!

A 2022 Isuzu NRR isn't a vehicle we normally fit brake controllers to since it's basically a commercial vehicle but since brake controllers are pretty universal we can still help you determine how you'd install one like the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN part # TK63VR that you referenced.

So while I am not totally sure what the brake controller wire you found is for it's most likely either an output circuit for the controller that would run to the rear of the vehicle for connecting to the trailer brakes or it's a stoplight circuit switch which is what tells the controller you are pressing the vehicle brakes. It might be labeled but if not you can test it for voltage with a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 when you press the brakes. If it has voltage when brakes are applied it's the stoplight circuit and would get ran to the red wire of the controller. If there's nothing there it's output circuit and you'd run it to blue wire of the controller.
