Question:

I have a 2020 Ram MC 3500 and Im trying to choose between the Demco and Pull Rite sliders 20K for the OE puck system. What are the pros and cons of the two hitches?

Since we don't carry the PullRite line I can't really speak to their quality but from what I can see from there website their 2900 model is fairly similar to the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # DM89GV. Both hitches offer 14" of additional clearance and will automatically slide back as you start to turn. Both will also require a capture plate to connect to the pin box, and could possibly also require to you purchase a special capture plate depending on the style of pin box you have.

As for the differences, the Demco has a 21,000lb GTW and 5,250lb pin weight capacity whereas the PullRite has a 20,000lb GTW and 5,000lb pin weight capacity. The PullRite hitch has a set height of 18.5", whereas the Demco has three height settings at 15-1/2", 16-3/4", and 18-1/4" to help keep your trailer level while you tow. The Demco also has a much nicer looking aesthetic to it versus the PullRite, which looks more like a prototype hitch.

Demco has great customer service as well and has always been helpful whenever I have a question, which speaks volumes to me about their products. If I were to choose I'd have to pick the Demco # DM89GV.
