Reducing Sway on Boat Trailer with Swing Away Surge Actuator
Question:
I have a boat and trailer which I need to add sway control to. Total weight including the trailer is around 5000 lbs it has Single axle, surge breaks, and a swing tonguesee pictures. What do you recommend?

There isn't a way to use sway control on a boat trailer with a pivoting surge actuator/coupler. If you are experiencing sway the best way to fight that is to increase tongue weight on the trailer (hard to do with a boat), or if the ball mount being used makes trailer sit too nose high going with a different ball mount can help. Using one that allows the trailer to sit as level as possible would be what you would want. I attached a help article that covers this for you to check out as well.
