Can the 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier Be Used to Carry 2 E-Bikes on a Travel Trailer
Question:
Could this cargo carrier be used to carry 2 e-bikes 80 and 60 lbs mounted behind a travel trailer on a hitch receiver with a TW of 500 lbs?

You can carry your 60 lb. and 80 lb. e-bike on the 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier # 63153. The combined weight of the bikes and carrier are well under the 500 lb. weight limit of your hitch receiver. The biggest issue comes from properly securing the bikes and ensuring they do no shift too much or leave the carrier all together. I would recommend adding the Bike Rack Adapter # CC-125 to help with this, along with some Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps w/ Push Button Releases # EM34420 to make sure everything is strapped down nice and tight and not adding extra bouncing and movement while on the road.
I would typically recommend going with a bike rack over a cargo carrier because they are specifically designed for this type of use and that helps to decrease issues. But, there are no bike racks that can carry both your 80 lb. e-bike and are rated for travel trailer use. As long as you have the bikes securely attached, you are well under the weight limit and should be good to go.
