As long as the valve stem in your wheel can handle the higher 75 psi rating of the 8-ply Load Range D tire and you don't plan on exceeding the lower weight rating of your wheels then you'll be just fine. If you need to upgrade your valve stem as well then the Americana High Pressure Rubber Snap-In Valve Stem # AM20904 will get the job done since it is rated for up to 80 psi.

If you'd rather have a wheel rated for up to 2,200 lbs (the max rating I'm seeing for an 8-ply tire) then you will need to upgrade to a different wheel like one of the following:

- Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20315
- Aluminum Sendel Series T07 Black Machined Trailer Wheel # AM25DR

Please note if you go this route you still need to still abide by the lowest rated component in your trailer setup.

If you let me know what 14" tire size you currently have I can make a tire and wheel combo recommendation for you.
