Will the Roadmaster 4" High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars Work in Drop Position
Question:
I saw a comment that the holes on the RM048-4 don’t line up flipped in the low position as a hitch. Is that true? I only see pictures of people using it as a riser and that makes me wonder.

The Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars part # RM-048-4 can be used in either the rise or drop position, the pin alignment would be the same either way. If used in the rise position, it will provide a 4" rise or if used in the drop position, it will provide a 4" drop.
I did see 1 review out of 124 which stated it would not work in the drop position but it's hard telling what they were doing so it should not concern you as the adapter is designed to work either way and we've used it as such many times.
