Can You Swap Out Your Current Air Distribution Box With Another Brand Or Style

Question:

I own a Coleman Mach 45203-6754 which is ducted. Will any Vent cieling Assembly Work with this ducted Air Conditioning Unit as I wish to put it on a Lance truck trailer without ducting?

If you swap out the air distribution box you'll also have to swap out the controller for your system. In order to do this you'd have to see what the connection type is for the wiring harness on your Coleman rooftop (condenser unit). It'll either be a 6-pin or 9-pin connector (pictured below) and will be plugged into your current controller.

If you have a 9-pin connector then you'll need to pick up an adapter # ACCOLKIT as well in order to connect to the new controller and air distribution box. For the air distribution box I recommend the Replacement Air Distribution Box for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioners # FACT11MA-PS. This ductless-style air distribution box has the controls integrated into it so that you won't have to run a thermostat line and take up precious space in your Lance Camper.

I don't know exactly what your setup is like in the Lance but it never hurts to seal up any gaps in the sealing with some HVAC tape so that all of the air being forced down will actually come out of the vents instead of through losing it in the ceiling. I'd also take a look at your unit's gasket and if it needs to be swapped out then you can use part # CAM25071.
