Correct Yakima BaseCLip Fit Kit for a 2001 4-Door Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I just took my Yakima BaseLine roof rack system off of my 2017 Toyota Tacoma and put them on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4 door naked roof. I was hoping that they would fit and they do.. with one small exception. I need just the clips for the 2001 fit kit because these clips I have now extend too far so that it grabs over the rubber weather seal. It looks a though “ BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers - Qty 4 part number: Y06171 “ will do the job but I am looking to just buy 4 of the clips. I do not need the pads. You are correct, the BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06171 is the correct fit kit for your 2001 Toyota Tacoma, however this kit is only offered including the landing pads.

Since you need 4, you'd order two of these kits and just discard the pads; Or, you can hold onto them should you ever need a replacement.
