Rattling Problems w/ a Draw-Tite Hitch on a 2018 Mazda CX-9
Question:
I have a 2018 Mazda CX9 with the 76020 hitch - it has a nasty rattle on the rear drivers side when I hit potholes. I cant seem to find where its coming from but only heard it after installing the hitch. any recommendations?

It sounds like something is lose with your exhaust and when you hit a bump the exhaust pipes or muffler are coming in contact with the Draw-Tite Hitch item # 76020. I recommend checking the rubber hanger and making sure it has been reinstalled correctly. If this doesn't work compare the two sides and try to see if there is anything noticeably different. It could be an issue with the heat shield or one of the bolts on the driver's side isn't tightened all the way.
