Can the Footplate For Round A-Frame Jacks JF-99 Be Used with a 1.75" Square Jack Tube

Will the tongue jack foot plate part JF-99 work with 1.75inch square tubing?

The Footplate for 2,000-lb and 5,000-lb Round, A-Frame Jacks # JF-99 is 2-1/4" wide. As long as the bolt hole in your jack is 7/16" in diameter, I do not see any reason why you would not be able to use this jack plate for your square jack.
