I am looking at a rv refrigerator vent cap #DMC37FR. Will it fit a Dometric refrigerator #DM2652?

The RV Refrigerator Roof Vent Cap and Base # DMC37FR will fit with your Dometic refrigerator DM2652. You will want to verify the cutout size on the roof if this is not the original refrigerator for your camper. This vent is designed for a 23-3/8" long x 6-1/2" wide cutout.

Can the base be mounted directly to the roof instead of from the inside.

@Dick Yes, the base of the Refrigerator Roof Vent # DMC37FR is designed to be mounted on top of the roof. You will want to use the Install Kit # 344270KITW to properly seal the roof when installing the base which will prevent water from getting into the space behind your refrigerator.

For your Dometic Duo Therm PDX 57915.622 we have the replacement shroud part #DMC69FR as a confirmed fit. The color will be more of an off-white than the white of your old shroud but this will still fit and work great.
