Is the PWM Filter Needed for 2000 Chevy Silverado with Lippert/Furrion Backup Camera
Question:
Do I need the PWM filter for a 2000 Silverado 2wd 6.0 ? The Lippert camera does not function in the cab of the truck but will work intermittently when inside 5R.

I am not aware of any known issues when using a backup camera system like the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless Backup Camera System part # ASA24YR or Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System part # FOS43TASF on a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. That said, the systems use the running lights for power so if you check this circuit at the connector on the vehicle you should see a min of twelve volts, if not you know there's a problem. I recommend taking a look at the owner's manual for the system (attached below) and going through the troubleshooting section.
