Troubleshooting Andersen Ultimate Adapter Where Junction Box Hits Truck Bed

Question:

New truck, installed my Anderson ultimate hitch, this truck is taller than my last one so now the electrical j-box on the gooseneck hits my tailgate the gooseneck probably will as well when i turn. Should I raise the ball on the hitch to the top hole or reverse the hitch so the ball is closer to the cab thus moving the gooseneck further from the tailgate?

First thing you want to do is make sure your trailer is sitting level still with the taller truck. If you can raise the # AM3200 and the trailer will sit level and gain you the junction box clearance you need then this would be the way to go. Otherwise offsetting the Andersen forward would be your best bet.
