Electric Trailer Roof Vent for Bathroom

Question:

Hello: I need a small 5 to 8 inch diameter or so 12V fan vent for mounting above a shower. I see plenty of vents that are exactly what I want but all say not for use above bathrooms or stoves or something like that. I understand the electric elements are exposed and could cause harm or be damaged if they get wet. I suppose I need one with the metal parts sealed or isolated. Can you point me to a vent that would be suitable? Thanks!

We have one powered plumbing vent that you could use, # UF53-945001. It is solar powered so does not actually wire into the electrical system of the trailer. It is only 7 inches in diameter and 3-3/4 inches tall. This is currently the only option we carry that can be used in a bathroom. I have linked a video review for you.

If you need to cut a new hole to mount this vent you will need to find a way to come up with some trim or a garnish so the insulation is not exposed.
