Recommended Replacement 22" Long Slipper Springs for Boat Trailer

Question:

Hi, I have a venture VAB-1325 boat trailer and need to replace the leaf springs. Springs need to be able to support at least 1,325 lbs. combined. Current leaf springs are worn, flattened and broke so the normal way to measure the size is unreliable. The distance from the front bolt where the front eye of the spring would bolt onto to the bolt in the rear that the slipper spring goes over is about 20.375”. Currently the worn spring is 22” from eye to end of slipper but it has been flattened some so I don’t know if I trust it. The slipper spring has a radius end to it as well. Can you help me determine the replacement spring I need? Thanks

I do have an option for you but we don't have any slipper springs in the size you need as they are too short. The best option we can offer you is a new hanger kit with new leaf springs, the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit part # APS3SE is a good option to start with and would pair well with the 2-Leaf Slipper Spring part # SP-177275.
