Troubleshooting Curt T-Connector 7-Way Circuits With No Power On a 2022 Ford Ranger XLT

Question:

Hi, I did install a CURT 56431 on a ranger XLT 2022 and connector wiring harness fits perfect, and clikcs smooth, but all I get is BK line turned on at all time all other signals just never turn on, tested with a validated sure it works CURT 58271.

It sounds like your 2022 Ford Ranger XLT may be missing or have damaged fuses/relays for the trailer functions. You will want to check your fuse panels for all the necessary trailer related fuses and relays. It is a little worry some the only light working on your Tester # C66NR is the BK. BK identifies the trailer brakes. If you have installed a trailer brake controller this is going to be normal but if you do not have a brake controller you installed then you will need to determine why this circuit has power. Be sure to check both connectors on the Curt T-Connector # C56431 as the pins can be easily bent inside either side which may have also caused your issues.
