Is a 2011 Toyota Corolla Capable Of Hauling a Mobility Scooter With a Carrier?
Question:
I have a 2011 Toyota Corolla S. I need to get a trailer hitch so that I can add a mobility scooter carrier to my car. Those slide into the hitch and don’t require a ball. I am disabled and have purchased a used scooter but need the hitch and carrier, preferably with electronic lift so that I can go places.

You are most likely going to need a different vehicle to carry your mobility scooter. Your 2011 Toyota Corolla only has a class I Receiver # C11265 which is only rated for up to 200lbs and has a 1-1/4" opening. You would need a Trailer # K2MMT4X6 to transport a mobility scooter with your Corolla.
We do have a Carrier w/Ramp # FHG67ZR if you can find a vehicle which is compatible with a 2" receiver. This particular carrier weighs 54lbs and is capable of supporting up to 500lbs. You will need to verify any vehicle you look at is capable of supporting the weight of your scooter and the rack. We do not have any electric lift carriers for scooters at this time.
