Ground Clearances Of Class II and III Hitches for 2014 Honda Odyssey
Question:
A quick ?, what is the ground clearance with the curt and Draw-Tite with them installed? I am worried it will be too low and scrape going out of driveway. Thank you.

When we installed the Draw-Tite Class III # 75270 and the Curt Class III # C13068 on a 2014 Honda Odyssey, we found that the distance from the bottom of the receiver tube to the ground of both hitches is right at 10-1/2 inches. The Curt Class II you mentioned, part # C12031 offers slightly more clearance at 11-1/2 inches.
Low ground clearance is kind of the nature of the beast with the Odyssey. Using a hitch mounted roller like part # UF48-979020 might be a good idea for you. The roller would scrape the ground first, and prevent the hitch from being damaged. The roller is only compatible with the Class III hitches, and would not be compatible with the Class II hitch you mentioned.
I have linked you to an instal video showing the Class II hitch you referenced being installed on a 2012 Odyssey. The procedure would be identical on your 2014 model.
