Will Curt 5th Wheel Brackets Fit with a Reese 5th Wheel Hitch on a 1999 Ford F-250

Question:

I need mounting brackets and rails for a 1999 f250 shortbed that will accept a Reese 5th wheel that has pins. I don’t need the 5th wheel What is the spacing between the rails want to ensure it will fit with my older style gooseneck plate, does this include everything needed except the fifth wheel hitch itself?

The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16443-204 install on your 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty and provide you with industry standard base rails with 22" between the mounting holes on center (see attached).

If you don't already have a 7-Way connector in your truck bed I recommend installing the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector # PK11893-11932 to make it easier to connect your 5th wheel wiring.
