Will Curt Q16 5th Wheel Hitch Fit 2017 Ford F-250 with B&W Gooseneck Hitch

Question:

I have a curt q16 fifth wheel hitch that came with the camper i recently bought and im trying to get that to work in my truck now. I have a 2017 f250 with the 6.75 bed with the bandw gooseneck hitch installed. I was looking at the curt x5 adaptor plate but noticed it said that it didnt work with my year truck. Are there any other options I might have to make that hitch work for my truck or am i needing a whole new setup? Thanks,

I do have an option for you but there is no way to make the Curt Q16 5th Wheel Hitch work on your 2017 Ford F-250 with B&W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch. If you remove the B&W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch and install the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ford part # C79BR you can then use the Curt Q16 5th Wheel Hitch but I don't recommend this as it will leave holes in your bed and there's a much better hitch available that will work with your B&W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, it's the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVK3400-5W which is one of the best options out there.

If needed, you could always sell the Curt Q16 5th Wheel Hitch to offset some of the cost.
