Is There A Wiring Harness Adapter To Make Installing A New RV Stereo System Easy

Question:

Replacing voyage RV stereo with the Jensen recommended physical size is the same but the voyage has 12 pin wiring harness and the Jensen has 20 pin wiring harness is there an adapter??

Unfortunately stereo manufacturers make the wiring harnesses all different for some unknown reason so there is not a quick and easy adapter to simply plug the stereo in. You'll have to splice the wires together, which can seem like a lot when you're staring at the bundle but it's much easier than you think.

You'll just want to get the wiring diagrams for both stereos and then separate the colors by their functions. I remove the wire harness of the old stereo from the unit and using the wiring diagrams start to un-splice and splice in the wires to the new wiring harness.
