Recommended 5th Wheel Mounting Brackets For 2006 Ford F-250 4x4 Short Bed with SuperGlide 4100
Question:
I have a 2006 f250 XL 4X4 6.0 super cab short bed. I also have a 4100 Traditional Series SuperGlide 16K Fifth Wheel Hitch for Short Bed Trucks. I am looking for the under bed puck system that will fit my truck. Preferable would be with the air bag bracket.

I do have a mounting bracket option for your SuperGlide 4100 5th wheel hitch, but unfortunately there are no below-bed rails compatible with that hitch.
To get it installed in your 2006 Ford F-250 short bed you'll need standard above-bed rails like the Curt # C16448-204. This will work fine with most air bag kits for your truck such as the Firestone # F2400.
If having a completely empty bed when not using the hitch is important to you then you'll need to sell your current hitch and purchase the Demco Autoslide # DM8550022 and below bed rails # DM8551000. This will give you a similar auto sliding hitch, but won't require bulky above bed brackets. This option is still compatible with the above air bag kit.
With either of these options I recommend adding an in-bed 7-way with # 50-97-410 to make hooking up your trailer easier.
