Option For Gooseneck Hitch & 5th Wheel Towing With 2009 GMC Sierra 3500
Question:
Good Morning I have a 2009 GMC 3500HD crew cab dually 8 truck. I am looking for a under bed mount that will work for both 5ths wheel and for goose neck trailers. I have looked through your site but cannot seem to find one that will do both. Could you advise if you have something that will do this and send me a link to it. Thank you

There is an option for you to tow both a gooseneck trailer and 5th wheel hitch with your 2009 GMC Sierra 3500. What you'll have to do is install a gooseneck hitch and a 5th wheel hitch that installs on the gooseneck ball. For an underbed gooseneck and accompanying 5th wheel this is what you'll need:
- Custom Underbed Installation Kit for Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C60712-5W
- Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550045-5W
The underbed install kit is the Curt Double Lock gooseneck, and the Recon will mount to its hitch ball, giving you a way to tow both your gooseneck and 5th wheel. The Recon is great because it is simple to remove from your Sierra's bed with its 2-piece design. The only other thing you'd need if you didn't have one was a wiring harness, the 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-Pole # PK11893-11932.
