Kwikee 32 Series Steps RV Steps Wont Extend Fully
Question:
Replaced my step with these steps. Easy install until we went to extend the steps and they don’t extend all the way. Any suggestions?

If you're having an issue with the steps fully extending and retracting then that points to the motor. The control box reads the motor's voltage to send the signal to stop the steps so if the motor is not working correctly it will arc out too soon and cause the steps to stop short of fully extending or retracting. The Replacement Motor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps part # LC379147 is the correct replacement.
If the issue only happens when extending then it could still be the motor but take some time to properly clean and lube the gear box first.
